My favicon fetish.

First off, in case you don’t know what this is – let’s ask Wikipedia:

A favicon  /ˈfævɨkɒn/ (short for favorites icon), also known as a shortcut icon, Web site icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon, is a file containing one or more small icons, most commonly 16×16 pixels, associated with a particular Web site or Web page.

I don’t know what my fascination is with these little buggers, but this is my confession (of sorts):

I get annoyed when it’s missing.

When I open a new website my eyes are immediately drawn to the top-left of the browser window waiting for that 16×16 pixel image to appear. If it doesn’t show up, I imagine what should have been there and consider emailing them on my decision. I haven’t actually done it… yet.

Please, You Gotta’ have this finishing touch.

And if you don’t have one, I’ll add it to your present site for free.

Yep, I’m that obsessed.
